What is a Control Transformer?

A device used to supply power to many different specialized electrical devices. This type of transformer has the function of controlling and stabilizing the standard voltage of the current.

Structure.

Like other transformers, control transformers are made up of two main components: 

+ Steel Core: The steel core is formed from many thin steel sheets made of Silicon coated with an insulating layer connected together. From there form a unified block. This core consists of: cylinders and shackles. The effect of this steel core is to generate a secondary current by transmitting a magnetic field.

+ Coil: The coil wrapped around the pillars of the steel core is divided into 2 coils: primary coil and secondary coil. The primary coil is responsible for receiving the primary current from the total power source to transmit it to the steel core. The secondary coil is used to transmit the secondary current to the output ports to serve many different uses.
